Middle Farm Ticket Portal

FAQs / Help

Do we have to book before visiting?

Yes. We ask you to decide whether you are coming in the morning or afternoon and the day you wish to come. No tickets are available to purchase at Middle Farm.

Do you issue refunds?

Unfortunately not, once payment has been made, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different date.

Please also note that refunds will not be given for wet weather, we suggest checking the forecast before your visit and come suitably dressed; there is still plenty to see and do even in the rain.

Do you have special events?

Yes. Check out our Events page and join in our social media to keep up-to-date with everything happening on the farm. Our Lambing Event in the Spring is always popular.

How long will our visit last?

Your ticket entitles you to spend 3 hours either in the morning or afternoon, on the Open Farm. There are events all throughout the day as shown on our Open Farm page.

Are there any discounted rates?

Under 3s are free and official carers are also free.

Everyone else pays the competitive ticket price, currently £5 each

Can we celebrate a child’s birthday on the farm?

We have a party parlour which is on one side of the farmyard.  Currently we are not able to hire it for birthday parties due to the Government restrictions following COVID19. Please contact us on 01323 811411 for more information about future parties.

Where are you?

You can see where we are and a map here

How far are you for the local city centres?

We are on the main A27 halfway between Lewes and Eastbourne. About 7 miles from Lewes. The entrance is clearly signposted from either direction.

Is there car parking and is it free?

Yes. Lots of room for cars and no charge.

Can we get to you by train or bus?

The train will take you to Lewes but there are currently very few bus services to Middle Farm.

Compass 125 has two a day on a Wednesday.

Are there facilities for wheelchairs?

The Open Farm and shops are all accessible by wheelchair.  There is a spacious disabled toilet with a ramp leading up to it.

Can I bring my pet?

No. Please do not leave your dog in your car. On a warm day cars heat up like ovens.

Can I arrange a school visit?

Normally yes. We welcome local schools to come and enjoy the farm and the animals and we can organise tours for the children but sadly we cannot accept school visit bookings at the moment due to Government regulations following the COVID19 pandemic.

Please contact us to discuss possible visits in the future.
